Hua Hin: Hua Hin is a seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand. Once a quiet fishing village, it grew into a fashionable escape for residents of Bangkok after the 1920's, when the Thai royal family built summer palaces here. Hua Hin Beach, popular for kite surfing and other water sports, is the main stretch of sand, lined with high-end hotels and seafood shacks.                                                                                                                      Lots of Fresh Seafood A Bentley!!  I k new it was going to be a great weekend with a car like this!                                And the house in Bangkok was not bad either................ Vientiane became the capital in 1563 due to fears of a Burmese invasion.                          The 2 flags of Laos          The Laos Flag & Communist Flag                          Vientiane's Arc de Triomphe  Officially called 'Victory Monument' and commemorating the Lao who died in pre-revolutionary wars, it was built in 1969 with cement donated by the USA intended for the construction of a new airport; hence expats refer to it as 'the vertical runway'.
