Thailand - My Chiang Mai Life

Pictures of "American" Thanksgiving turkey dinner I cooked for Mike. Mike owns the building my apartment is in.  He just bought a new home and his first "turkey" dinner party.....  Guests were from Korea, Holland, Bahamas :-), and of course Thailand.  The apple pie was from Duke's Restaurant and was the biggest apple pie that I have ever seen......                                                                The "honoured" guest!                                                     Sorry, MIKE ate the turkey skin!!!                                           ...

Here are some pics of a 500 seat restaurant just 5 minutes from my house. I did not even know the Restaurant was there. It is a Thai BBQ restaurant, which means you cook the food at your table. There are long tables with all the “uncooked” food on them. You just help yourself to what ever you want – thin slice steak, pork, chicken, liver, plus seafood - shrimp, clams, squid, crab and lots of vegetables. Then tables with appetizers, fresh fruit, desserts and ice cream You can eat as much as you want and the price is $3.85. They even have live music…..
